About Us
The Leist family started the non-profit, Paul’s Life Circle, in 2014. Our mission remains the same – to help Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) patients with uncovered medical expenses at the TS Clinic or associated services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital/University of Cincinnati that directly support TS patients and families.
Our son, Paul, was diagnosed with TS at three months of age. Throughout his childhood, and now as an adult, we continue to use the TS Clinic at Children’s Hospital, as well as associated TS medical services, for Paul’s multiple and complex medical needs.

It can cause tumors in the vital organs, including the brain, kidneys, heart, lungs, eyes, skin and elsewhere. This can lead to surgeries, hard-to-control seizures, developmental disabilities, autism, speech and language dysfunction, learning, sleep and behavior disorders, we well as many other complications.
